Uttarakhand State Commission For Protection of Child Rights

About the SCPCR Uttarakhand

The State Government has constituted the Child Rights Protection Act in accordance with Articles 38, 39, 41, 44, 45, 46, 47 and 51 under Articles 36 to 51 (Directive Principles of State Policy) of the Constitution for the protection of child rights. Under this, the Uttarakhand Commission for Protection of Child Rights (SCPCR) was established through Section 17 of the Act 2005 and State Government Notification No. 1092/XVII(4)/2011/10NSGHNW, dated 10 May 2011.

The main objective of this Commission is to ensure the protection and protection of the rights of children in the state of Uttarakhand. The Commission plays an important role in advising and monitoring on issues related to education, health, child development, child labor etc.
